There have been a few events for the Chamber in the past month.  First, resulting from a recent resignation from the Board of Directors (BOD) the remaining members passed a resolution appointing Elisabeth Barton to the seat for the remaining term which ends in October 2020.  Elisabeth is a founding member and CEO of ECHO Adventure Cooperative located here in Groveland.  The Directors look forward to her active participation on the BOD.

Second as mentioned in last month’s article the 49’er Festival and Chili Cook-Off was held on Saturday, September 21st.  Winners in each category were as follows:

Parade Winners
Best Equestrian:  Sierra Cowgirls
Best Walking:  Summerville Orange Crush Marching Band
Best Motor Vehicle:  Model T, Gabriel Coehlo
Best Theme:  Hill Top Musical Kids
